Need some advice from the pros

I've got a few months before I'll be able to do anything so I will hopefully have more choices by then, in particular the D7200 and D400 at least that is my hope.
I have been really looking at the D800, the landscape shots I've seen taken with it are amazing but I also realize the holder is as important as the holdee. :)

Yeah, lots of people are holding out for a D400, but i am not sure it will ever happen.... but, who knows right!. The D800 is an awesome cam and you can get excellent refurbs - save you a bit of money. And yes, the guy behind the cam is equally important;)
 
going back to the original post our good friend Rockwell is comparing images from the D600 D 7100 and D7000 at present on his site under whats new......

diffraction occures around an edge ..a lens does not have an edge a diaphragm does .....oops
