Need help on buying a new lens

Hi everyone I am Danny & I am 24.
this is my 1st post, I love this site & have learned a lot from joining but it's time to ask some advice.
I am a hobbyist who's quite new to photography & am looking for a decent all round lens I own a d5300 18-55 vrii 55-200 vr & also a 50mm 1.8
I am ideally wanting to sell my 18-55 & 55-200 & buy either a 18-200 or 18-300 . The only reason being lens changes & carrying weight not good in the blistering heat. I have around £450 to spend just wondering if the IQ on these 2 lenses are as good or if not better than the ones I own, or is there better lenses for my budget third party or not ?
I have also been tempted in a wide angle lens instead & make do with what I had. Hopefully some of you can shine some light on my situation & help I have read reviews on a lot of lenses now but some personal experience would be great
Thanks in advance

Hi Danny,

keep your 18-55, sell the 55-200 and get a 70-300. If you can get a used one and have money left, get the 35 1.8 or a sigma 10-20.

Hi marcel is the 70-300 a better image quality do you know? I find the 55-200 soft at times & hunts quite a lot.
Also any experience on the sigma 10-20 I have been looking at the 3.5

Yes for the 70-300 compared with the 55-200. The Sigma, I have the 10-20 3.5-5.6 and it's very very good. I don't think the 3.5 (not variable aperture) is worth the difference in price if you can get the 3.5-5.6.
