Mystery 5 of 6

If anyone can translate this I am curious what it says. If not, anyone know what script this is? Information we have... he traveled the world during the Korean war with the navy and stopped everywhere. Only information I have is a tag one that read 14th Century and he paid $40.

My best guess for the first one is Latin. I can't make out many of the words though. "Sca Maria" repeats. The ones I can make out: "patri" (father). "Ptu" (birth). "Vna" (one). "Verus" (true). My guess, it's talking about Mary giving birth to Jesus. Although I don't see "Deus" in there (god).

The second set looks like Arabic. If they were purchased at the same time, it's possible the seller was selling religious texts and it's part of the Quran.

Again I'm with jdeg.
First one is Latin for sure. It's something about Mary, but I really can't tell what it is. It doesn't look like it biblical, so my guess would be some sort of prayer, or more popularized story about the holy mother.

IF it is indeed from the 14th century, I doubt it's of Asian origin. While there was Christian activity in Asia at that time, I doubt Latin would have been the language of choice for the Christians there, or even the missionaries. My guess would be Middle Eastern- or European origin.

The second text is in Arabic, no doubt either. I read zero Arabic, but my guess here would be either a part of the Quran or some sort of Hadith (text about Muhammad - mostly - that was not revealed from God).
