RIP :(
My son spent 6 years in the Army and when he got out he went back to the University of Alabama to finish up with his degree. Well my 87 year old mom happens to live in the same town so my son goes by to visit her as often as he can. Well this week he went over to cut her yard for her and then take her out for lunch. Taking her out to lunch is not easy. She is on a walker and has trouble cutting her food because she is losing the use of her right hand. Well telling you all this is just to set the stage. There was a cute girl working at the restaurant where he took his grandmother out to eat this week. The young lady noticed how good my son was with his grandmother so when they were on their way out she slipped my son a piece of paper with her phone number on it. I have always taught my son to be good to his elders and this week he found out why. He called to thank me today.
