Message: <blockquote data-quote="mikew_RIP" data-source="post: 593335" data-attributes="member: 14174">The other thing to put in print is mirrorless is not as such lighter and smaller for things like wildlife,your camera body maybe but with crop and full frame sensors the lenses need to be nearly as big and heavy as DSLR lenses to cover the sensor.To reduce size and weight significantly you need to reduce sensor size,thats why i chose m4/3,if i was into landscapes ect i would look at the Sony full frame.The other thing is unless like me you need to reduce the weight DSLRs still have the advantage if for nothing else lens choices,Sigma Tamron making a full range of lenses,my 100-400 was nearly £1400,the bodies are cheapish but they have you by the short and curlys with long lenses.</blockquote>
