That is hard to say.
I had a D2 fail at less than 30k activations, but I had a D1 last over 1 million too.
I would simply put my widest Nikkor (preferably a prime) on,
and while looking thru the viewfinder,
see if the camera focuses after selecting the left points.
If that is not conclusive get some charts, etc.
