I'm so envious, I merely drove through Corning some 25+ yrs ago and I remember it very well. I would love to spend some time exploring that part of the world. If I recall Corning is on, or near, Cherokee Indian land, right? I remember seeing police cars with Cherokee characters on them near Corning...or is that a mistaken memory?

Dave that would be the next town over. Painted Post, NY. And it is an Iroquois Indian. Both towns share the same schools, soon to be one next year. It is A great area. Not the best weather lately but, great scenery. Even after 46 years I haven't seen everything.

If anyone decides to come this way in the future, I can get you tickets for the Glass museum. Since, I deliver mail to the curators at the museum they give me free passes if I ask.

Ah, I see. I also remember going over a river and seeing some really cool old buildings and a bridge nearby. Is that Corning or another town along the way that I'm thinking about?
