Well there is two things I figured I'd mention. First my laptop was the issue with raw files importing, not the camera. Apparently it doesn't like importing raw files, though I can post process the raw files without importing the raw file itself. Then all that is added to the computer files are the jpegs after post processing. Weird but likely a memory issue I would guess. Second. I thought I'd use the v1 now and then, but that I'd mainly use my D300! But it turned out the the other way around, with the V1 growing on me for quick shots of random things. Whereas the D300 gets pulled out when I'm after a special shot, or macro shot! Lol :) I still like the D300 better, but the V1 is very convenient, easy to carry, and great when your not specifically looking for a photo and you just run across something you want to shoot. More so since I bought the 18.5mm lens, since it works much better indoors not always needing the flash to get a shot your after. :) I am sorta wishing I had a very small pack to haul my extra lenses with me at times. A back pack seems like over kill for this setup! Lol :D
