All three drives are named the same so if I lose one I can plug in another and LR will recognize it. I keep my current month of shots on my Macbook and they get backed up with it and then moved to the external which holds my "Master" catalog (I keep a "Working" and "Master" catalog and switch betwn the two). Whenever I update or change any older work I then use a program called FreeFileSync and it scans the drive and identifies any files that are either new or changed from the other drives and will copy/update them on the clone. It's a killer piece of freeware and works on both PC and Mac.</p></blockquote><p></p>
