Looking back on how my equipmet have started and evolved as my passion in photography continues. So many lenses that I have tried and sold over the years. I thought of downsizing but somehow they keep on growning. It is so hard to let go on my current lenses until something new and improve is introduced. I thought of sharing what I have gone through, I'm not sure if someone went through similar experience. Going back when I shifted from my D80 to D700 in 2009. My first pro lens was the 24-70mm f2.8 and was quickly followed by the 70-200mm f2.8 VRI, Tamron 90mm f2.8 macro lens and Nikon 50mm f1.4D. Later added the Rokinon 85mm f1.4 manual focus lens, and Nikon 24-120mm f4 lens. Nikon_gears 2010 by gqtuazon, on Flickr Fast forward to 2011 which added the D7000, sold the 70-200mm f2.8 VRI and upgraded to the VRII. Sold the Tamron 90mm f2.8, 50mm f1.4D, Rokinon 85mm f1.4 lens and got the Sigma 85mm f1.4 HSM lens. Fast forwad to 2013/2014. Sold the D700 and got the D800E and D3s. Added the Nikon 105mm f2.8 VR, 300mm f4 AFS, 28mm f1.8G, 50mm f1.8G, 85mm f1.8G, Zeiss 135mm f2, SB900 and sold the 24-120mm f4 lens. Not included in the picture are the D800E and 50mm f1.8G. So, for those of you who have thought that they are good to go with your current equipment, NAS will always strike and it doesn't appear to end. ::what:: Gear 2014 by gqtuazon, on Flickr
