I like purple flowers no matter what color they are.
I do like the photo, but all the white area at the top kinda draws me away from the flower. I'd try cropping in a little closer.

I would try to close the aperture (f/2 or 2.8) to try and bring my main subject into a focus a little better and I bet you would of have still retained some bokeh. In this shot the bokeh is really great but the flower is somewhat out of focus around the edges. nice subject.
