My D800 compared to my D700 is amaing what detail it captures. But, when I try to convert an image to around a 300K JPEG so I can post the image on my photography website or Facebook they look to be like a 25k crappy JPEG. With my D300s and D700 I always make a 250k - 350k Image - say 1900 pixels wide and they look great. If I try to do this with my new D800 much of the detail is lost. I've tried to sharpen the image in Camera Raw as well as waiting and doing it as a small JPEG file, both ways the results are awful. Please... what am I doing Wrong? I shoot in RAW and yes I use Photoshop CS5 I am NOT an expert by any means - on the road to retirement and I have always had a passion for photography and recently taken photography up as a full time hobby! Here is an example of what I'm talking about. Check out the BF Goodrich on the drivers door. This is dead nuts clear as can be in Photoshop. Thank you for your help on this issue... I'm sure it's just me.... ha ha
