I've always been a fan and avid user of hardware KVM sharing solutions, but also come across hybrid hardware/software solutions for KVM sharing in business/corporate environments.
However, with all these solutions, sharing of files or copying information across multiple systems is next to impossible unless you're using traditional methods (network, external devices, etc).
Was just looking for some other stuff earlier today and came across this which I remember reading about years ago but it was never made as readily available.
Microsoft download from The Garage: Mouse without Borders - Next at Microsoft - Site Home - TechNet Blogs
Basically allows you to use one keyboard and mouse to control multiple PCs (upto four) on the same LAN.
Useful if you have two or PCs in your home/office at the same desk and don't want to use traditional KVM solutions to switch between them.
