has anyone tried out the sirui p 324x monopod? i was wondering what the build quality is like as i am considering getting one.
they look promising as an alternative to a tripod for photography on the move.

if you did your macro bug shots with a tripod you may be disappointed with a monopod. shot some bugs with just one leg extended on your tripod, if you are ok with the shots go for the monopod.

thank you. lately i have been using a nikon 300 f4 af-s with the tc 14ii converter, sometimes the sigma 150 non os, with or without the sigma 1.4tc. i also use the micro-nikkor 60mm af-d and 105 af-d on occasion.

I use a Sirui monopod and it's the cheaper and lighter version. It works well for my use.

With regards to the specific model that you are looking for, a quick search on google and youtube will give you this video. Not in English though.
