looking for recommendations for a monopod. Im searching for an inexpensive one that is some what sturdy to hold my d7100 with a 80-200 on it and sometimes a sb-900.
I was hoping some of you can share what brand of monopod you have and where you got it.
I have found various on ebay and amazon from anywhere from 15-250 I am looking to stay in the 25-50 dollar range but don't want to end up with one that is super fragile. so any help would be highly appreciated thank you.

some one gave me a monopod once, I believe it was cheap and wouldn't hold the camera and lens...I would suggest taking the equipment to a store that you plan to use with it to make sure it is capable...

I have two...a Manfrotto professional model 079 and a Benro MP-68 M8. I wouldn't trust my cameras to a $50 monopod!

You can Google both these monopods to see specs.

I also have two. A Aluminum Giottos 9750 with a 3POD quick release system. And a Sirui carbon fiber P-326 with a 3POD H1 ball head with quick release. Both are very capable.

Monopod and tripod discussions are frequent and detailed on here: just search. I have a D7100 with 18-300 lens and have posted my 'pod details on here already.

A simple search about monopod can direct you to links on previous discussions.
