Message: <blockquote data-quote="Krs_2007" data-source="post: 347805" data-attributes="member: 12948">I have the spyder pro and read the first review.  I have never had an issue with 4 year old Mac Pro and view sonic monitor, so can't to speak to the issues this person had, but the review seemed very one sided.  There are some differences and I read about issues with both devices but went with spyder based recommendations from friends.  I would compare the software options and go from there.  The devices achieve the same thing so it just comes down to their software and expandable options like printer calibration and such.  Either one will serve you well if you feel like you have an issue, which I did and it fixed it.i know a lot of people that don't use them at all.</blockquote>
