Mode Display on Nikon D610

Mode is not displayed on top LCD or looking into the lens. I usually shoot in M mode and could see the mode displayed. How to I get it back?

Thanks Fred. The Mode displays on top LCD on my D300 and I was pretty sure it did the same on the D610. But, maybe I am wrong. Yes, the mode does display on back LCD when pushing info.

Correct... the Mode displays on the top on the D300 because looking at the top of the camera, you can't tell which mode it's in. However, looking at the top of the D600/D610... you can easily see which mode the camera's in by looking at the Mode Dial on the left...;)
