I have returned from the mandatory ice cream run. In the early morning of our camping trip we decided to climb the mountain on foot to greet the sun as it came up and to check out some really cool dead trees. While climbing up the side of the mountain we stumbled upon the remnants of an old pioneer cabin. I would guess there are only a handful of people that know of this cabin as you can't see it on the cliff side until you walk upon it. These are some of the cool trees. My nephew greeting the first light of the sun as it came over the top of the mountain. The view up top. My nephew looking down to our camp from inside the old dead trees. If you look in the center of this picture you can see my Jeep down below at our camp.
