Day 93 Packed All the camera gear is packed, charged, formatted, and ready to go shoot in Boise, Idaho. Thank you to all that helped me crash course learn indoor portrait flash photography. It's funny how many times I have shot something that I have no desire to shoot. For example, soccer. Can't stand the game, yet I shoot it all the time solely to add a skill that I never know when it might come in handy. And usually when something new comes along I have tried it a few times so I have some practical experience. This shoot is one that caught me off guard when I didn't stick to my own mantra of learn it anyway. I really don't like posed studio portraits and for that reason never learned it. Wished I had as it would have made the learning curve this week so much easier to just polish a skill versus having to actually learn it. So to those that haven't practiced this or that, DO IT! You never know what might present itself and you might need the skill. So after this trip guess who will continue to hone his new indoor flash portrait skills? Talk to everyone when I get back. Phone picture.
