First time I have shot with that lens as you can't be choosy when you've stolen the camera and lens combo you're going to shoot with. I can say it is a very sharp lens. Nothing scientific, but I dare say it seems a bit sharper than the 40mm.To be fair I must share credit with Mother Nature and the almighty.
