Well, I do not know, whether it's a digital or not, but it works with even/at least 3 digital cameras (today I tried it with my PEN, too). It is this one: metz mecablitz 28 c-2 - Google Search Notice that white button on the right side of the rear panel - it has not even been mentioned by the manual (though, most probably, it's role is to actuate the battery indication lamp). As for the "O.K." lamp, I know not whether it has burned out, or it lights up when used with SOME camera models only, etc. ... All "thanks" to sloppy user manual... wev: you have incorrectly referred to a DIFFERENT model - CS-2. Mine is C-2. =========================================================== PROBLEM SOLVED. Apparently, the (very old) batteries (2200mAH, Eneready) were partially damaged, after not being used for a long time (couple of years). I charged them up, and made a few successful snaps before they began to "misbehave". I replaced them with the fresh set of 4 (same model, brand new) and now those lamp indicators work like a charm...
