I'm not too bummed since I was planning on sending it in for the famous left-focus issue anyway but I guess I'll also be getting a new shutter box so that I can start the countdown all over again.
It was an awesome show but by the end my D800 kicked the bucket after only 3 1/2 months. But at least I got some great images. It started off with the "Patriots" squad in what I believe are F-14's. And then there was a mix of various airplanes and helicopters And then my favorite, the newest and most advanced fighter ever made, the F-22 Raptor. I especially like the condensate that forms around the wings, very cool. And like a Harrier, this plane can stop in mid air and hover And then here's an assortment of planes and of course the Blue Angles but unfortunately I've used up my 20 images. I'll have to post them later or in a blog. As for my D800, it was working beautifully all the way until the end of the day. It suddenly stopped focusing and in fact wouldn't even try very hard.
