[B]Spotted this soft shell turtle on yesterdays bike ride. She was looking pretty worn and dry. She had to have crossed two lanes of traffic to get where she was. Only had half a bottle of water, but I shared it with her. Chris didn't notice I stopped until two miles later. I caught up with him when he turned back to look for me. We went back to help her get back to the pond and she was gone. We searched and could not find her, but did find a spot where we believe she laid eggs. We'll be watching that spot.
