Message: <blockquote data-quote="sonicbuffalo_RIP" data-source="post: 420712" data-attributes="member: 21543"><p>Awesome pictures of the woodpecker.....we used to have a nest of them living in our backyard in Virginia....then the neighbors hired a tree service to cut down the tree and we found a nest with 4 or 5 pileated woodpeckers that had just hatched.  It was sad....and I hope they survived, but I doubt it.  They were too young to have to find another home.  They barely had feathers.  I always loved their beauty.</p></blockquote><p></p>
