As a matter of fact, my 2 first shots were vertical and for a portrait, this is what I would use.But this is going to be part of an ensemble of pictures and I kind of like the division the shadow makes. It is confusing to look at since there seem to be 2 points of interest and the eyes are fighting to stay at one place but keep getting nagged by the shadow.This is my second shot and it's probably a better portrait of her as well.
