I've purchased ladybugs at botanical nurseries in the past, but those are getting difficult to find around here.  And yes, the ladybugs tend to fly away from where I want them to stay.  Another way to control aphids is the use of an insecticidal soap, and you can either purchase it (ex: Safer brand) or make your own.  If you want to make your own, look up recipes on the internet, but be certain that you use either pure soap or nearly pure soap or you run the risk of damaging your plants.   You can likely find videos on youtube concerning making and using it.  Good luck with getting rid of those pests;  your efforts will most likely be worth it!WM</blockquote>
