The mountains are spectacular, but to be honest, you totally took away from their beauty with the fallen tree and tree stump in the forground. They add nothing to the photo. Infact, they kill it for me. I have seen a couple from you now regarding trees and stumps. very rarely are they interesting enough for someone to say WOW. And they are NEVER interesting when placed in front of scenery like this. Sometimes, you dont need a "subject" in front of what is already amazing. You just cannot take, something that is as gorgeous as this view, and make it better. You are trying too hard. Simple can be great! You will get there with it.

This is the about the same as a nude photo of one of the most beautiful women on earth, with a 400-lb sweaty fat guy standing in front of her.
Photography is a funny thing. Sometimes, we have to work our butts off making the photo "happen". Other times, we just have to be in the right place at the right time, press the button, and walk away. This was one of those times. Unfortunately, you should've been standing about 20 ft closer.

That is exactly what I thought when I took this one. Thank you for sharing my perspective.@ JoeLewisPhoto & Anthony Hereld..... I thought sometimes you have to make a "400-lb sweaty fat guy" stand in front of the most beautiful women on earth to make her look how beautiful she really is! Here's just "the most beautiful women without that 400-lb sweaty fat guy".Actually, I find the stumps interesting against the mountains. Although, I would like it more if the one on the left were not cut off. Without the stumps, it's just another boring spectacular mountain shot.
