This is a new app in the app store and was looking for some insight if anyone has utilized it. Evidently it was just released and the online reviews give it good marks, but I am looking for anyone who may have tried it in person to gain their insight. Thanks

I downloaded the pro version trial. It seems to work really well. I selected a photo that I was working on... struggling with... and using a preset it came out well.
I haven't figured out the difference between the pro version and the one you can purchase from the apple store. Looks promising though. I'll use it until the end of the trial and see if I want to buy it.

It's supposedly a new program which is again set in the same line of LR & a bit of PS..
I did a little reading on it just a couple of days back & the reviews seem very promising..
Especially for beginners & people learning PP this would be quite helpful..
It is almost a clone of LR (appearance wise)..

Like Mark just pointed out above, the strong point is the presets..
you can supposedly can almost all your work done just through presets..
Gives more options to photographers, so it's a good thing

The pro version supposedly works as a plug in with LR, PS etc, while the app on the Apple store is a standalone.

Downloaded the Pro trial... not TOO overly impressed with it considering what I've seen people do with the NIC collection. Of course... it's cheaper than the NIC collection. Also, I'm sure I'm not using it to the full extent of it's capabilities.

EDIT: Actually, the more I play with it, the more I like it. It's quite an easy learning curve and allows you to edit in layers, etc. with ease. Still haven't produced pics to match some of the NIC effects, but with a 15 day trial, perhaps I can?

The only thing I wish it would do is open more than one image at a time, and/or allow you to scroll through photos. Mass production would be nice, but it's pretty easy to learn and use, and does have some nice presets.

Anyone else messing with the demo that's actually read the documentation? LOL

It came with documentation? Wow. HAHA I found the trial and have been playing with it is well. Looking more and more like something I could be interested in It is pretty neat and gets some good results

Not trying to sound like an idiot.. but except from the website info on this.. where is the documentation? I'm trying to figure out if I want the pro or the stand alone from Apple apps. I don't see where I can actually save it as a jpg file from the stand alone without emailing to me as a png file. If i save it from the stand alone it only wants to be save as a mpi which can only be opened by Intensify. Unless the paid version opens up an option? I like the program as a plugin to photoshop... but you pay 30.00 more for that option.

EDIT: Never mind.. found the save as Jpeg and other save as options other than mpi under the export option.
Not familiar with doing it that way.

Hey guys!

If you want to save an image, please go to File - Export (not Export to or Share to).

Here is the Help page: intensify - Macphun help

You can try the demo version of Intensify Pro, it has all functionality but available only for 15 days:
http://macphun.com/intensifypro

Here's what you get in the Pro version:
- Run Intensify Pro as either a standalone app or as a plug-in to Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Photoshop Elements, Adobe Photoshop Lightroom and Apple Aperture.
- Several tools in Intensify Pro contain additional capabilities. For example, Micro Sharpness gains a Dehalo feature and Structure adds a Softness feature.
- Vignettes are upgraded in Intensify Pro, adding a Luminosity control and the ability to "place" the center point of a Vignette -- very handy!
- You’ll love the improvements to navigation -- with Intensify Pro, you can use the Navigation Window for simple navigation, even while in zoom mode!
- Intensify Pro also supports a number of shortcuts to make workflow even faster. Histograms can now show tonal range clipping, pixel saturation and more.
