Mac App for Data Usage Monitoring

Recently upgraded (not sure if that's right) from a 2mbps unlimited data plan, to a slightly more expensive 4mbps plan with a download limit of 175GB
It isn't a limit per se, as after the 175gigs run out, the speed drops to an abysmal 256kbps :distress:
Anyway i haven't really gone past the 175 gb till this month... yes i've crossed the mark & am struggling at 256kbps...

anyhow, cutting to the chase, the reason i went past it was cos there are NO mac apps which would monitor your data usage independent of network traffic ie. transfers on the network between systems, or wireless streaming etc.
And not many which actually monitor on a monthly basis.

So here is an awesome app - TrafficBot
It does all of the above and it has a very cool interface as well..
here on am gong be wise and aware than stupid and lost at 256kbps :p
check it out, very nice..
it costs $4.00

I use satellite broadband, they have a monitor I can use for free.

I just upgraded to a higher limit, if I go over the limit now they just charge me more, the speed doesnt drop. Last month I went over and got charged an extra $3.60.

The plan I was on previously, went slow once you went over the limit but didn't cost any more, it was driving me crazy.

I think this new plan costs me an extra $10 a month.

Edit-- I just checked my bill, it was $24.73 extra charge . Better start watching that meter.
