Sounds interesting.
I do admit, I love having Instagram still be a mobile centric application.

I use a LR > export > Dropbox > IG work flow to get my images to Instagram currently.

For some reason IG hates the idea of uploading directly from a non-mobile device and constantly seems to be screwing with the upload mechanism to foul whatever is out there that gets around it. It got me to stop posting. That said, LR Mobile would probably be the easier solution if you have LR. Just sync your IG photos and export/upload from the tablet instead.
