At the moment I use a Tamrac Velocity 6X (small holster-type sling bag) but having recently added a new 50mm lens and a few filters and holders to my collection need something bigger.
My main dilemma almost every time I head out with my camera is how to carry non-photographic stuff. When out in the countryside my partner ends up being my Sherpa, carrying my bits and bobs, water bottle etc. The Tamrac shoulder bag has space for my mobile but not much more.
I'm keen on a sling bag rather than a whole dedicated backpack.
I bought a Lowepro Transit 250 AW Sling Bag before Christmas after reading so many reviews, and now find I tend to agree with the reviewers who say the side slot for accessing the camera is a bit poky. The space for non-camera stuff is just one big space - I can't see how my mobile would sit in here safely, let along keys, wallet etc.
I am reminded I have a week to return it. I'm undecided!
Any ideas about other brands to consider? I thought I'd investigated everything but it's unlikely I have... Any ideas much appreciated!
