When I record videos outdoors (plenty of light) using my Nikon 3100, the frame rate is low. I am using the green Auto mode. Here is some example footage I took to explain the issue: DSC 0642 - YouTube (this video will be taken down after a few days). Any idea why? EDIT: Figured it out once I uploaded it to YouTube and realized the frame rate was fine in the upload. It appears the frame rate is poor when the MOV is viewed in QuickTime, but fine in KMPlayer and on YouTube. Strange! I have an Core i5-750/GeForce 560, so it's not the system (I only have issues with the D3100 videos, and when viewing them with QuickTime). Ah well, issue solved :)
