lots missing. need critique and technique

Folks
Recently boughta 70-200f2.8 and I love the lens. Check the pics attached. Those are 30sec exposures. I see foggy pics than that milky picstures. The first one, I wanted the smooth water flow. What mistake did I do here? What should I do? I used big lee :)

Appreciate your help.

The long exposure captured the mist over the water. You'll have to wait for the mist to clear to get a shot of the water. Wait for a bright clear day and add a neutral density filter to make your long exposure work. The mist should be clear then.
