Message: <blockquote data-quote="BackdoorArts" data-source="post: 330481" data-attributes="member: 9240">I have one of those LCD/Eyepiece covers.  It's now in a drawer because I almost stepped on it walking back out of a field along the same grass path that I'd taken on the way in.  I use stick-on LCD covers now.The eyepiece has 2 notches that correspond with 2 rounded dots on either side of the viewfinder, and it clicks into place.  Seemed secure at the time.  Never came off my D7000 and I used that for almost 2 years before getting the D600.  I'm really not looking to invest in a Hoodman, if only for fear that I might like it enough that I need to buy 2 more for my other bodies.  I suspect that if I buy replacements I might just stick a dab of a mild adhesive somewhere to help hold it in place given that I never take it off.</blockquote>
