Looking for a D610 body as a second camera. Open to any recommendations, suggestions, cautions, etc. regarding the 610.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thanks, NikonPup! Today I was set to buy a refurbed D610 from B&H Photo Video for $899 and then taxes of nearly $50 before I jumped over to Adorama to see if they had D610s and their D610's for $879 ship for free and without taxes so I saved $60-some dollars. I am looking forward to the D610 as a back-up sidekick to my D750. I did think about spending the extra money for a refurbed D750 but went 'cheap.'adorma's web site has D610 and D750 refurbished. $879 D610 $1089 for D750.
I have both, recommend D750.
Thank you, Cindy. Today I looked into B&H's Used versus Refurbed and just before pulling the trigger on the D610 there jumped over to see what Adorama had. Their refurbed D610 was $20 less and shipped wihtout taxes of nearly $50 so I went with them. In truth I have never ordered from either place before.I've had good luck buying pre-owned from B&H or Allen's Camera.
No cautions to offer, but are you aware the focus points don't stretch across the viewfinder as they do on other bodies? You can always focus and recompose which is what I do when I use mine.
