Looking for a new lens for my D90, Need help deciding!

I just pulled the trigger on a Nikon 18-105mm VR DX AF-S lens on e-Bay for $199.95, for a total of $209.90 with standard shipping. The lens is refurbished from Cameta Camera and will be here next Thursday, can hardly wait[h=1][/h]

For a lot of the scenes you're posting on here, I believe that you've done well. When I purchased my D90, it came with an 18-105, but I had a 18-200 that was my "everyday - all the time" lens. After I broke the 18-200, :mad-new:, :sorrow:, I switched to the 18-105 and am quite happy with it.

Do you have a tripod? If not, I'd look for one; that way, you'll be able to utilize longer exposure techniques.

WOW! I am so Stoked I just bought this lens off of e-Bay last Friday on 5/17/13 and was told to expect it on Thursday 5/24/13. OMG it arrived here today 5/20/13 just before noon, I was gerring out of my car after returning from giving a couple of golf lessons at a nearby course and the mail lady drove up in her mail vehicle, honked her horn and waved me over, when I got there she handed me a medium sized box and I knew right away that my new (refurbished) lens had arrived. I was so happy I think I actually skipped on into the house and put it immediately onto my D90 and started focusing on different objects around the room, it worked great. I can't wait to get it outside and start taking some pics with it.

Just don't make the mistake I did. I was disappointed because part of each picture was blurry. Found it was a thumbprint on the filter duh
