...taken by the members of Nikonites helps me so much improving my own photography. I mean, I get ideas of composition, of subjects, of how to see at objects. I could name lots of members who inspired me the most but this wouldn't be fair to other members who also gave me some great ideas.

I know, reading posts, looking at photos, watching VDO's helped me a lot, but the most of the passive activities turned to be successful at "learning by doing".

My local mentor will make me pick a photographer and go through their photos and critique them. I must tell what I like and why and what I don't like and why. He will then pick a top photographer and do the same to them. That has helped me to learn more about what I am doing.
