London Town and Reading Nikon Shops

Anyone from either London or Reading that can recommend a good photography shop?
Good encompasses stock and of course price.
My flatmate is going over and I have suggested to her that she buys small things such as Rapid Strap, eyecups, memory card etc. Things that are useful that don't weigh a lot.
On an exchange rate basis they are half the price over there.

Or is she better off ordering these items off amazon.co.uk and having them delivered to her friends in Reading prior to arrival? This sounds like a good idea to me as she is only leaving in August.
She may also want to buy a wide angle and/or macro lens ...

Any suggestions welcome

You have a lot of time... I would make a list of the thinks you want... and research them on Amazon... there's an add-in for browsers called CamelCamel... It integrates with Amazon's web pages. It's a backend database that tracks a product's sku number and price on Amazon and tells you what the price history has been for a particular product... I'm talking 30-40%... It then let's you setup an alert for an Amazon product at whatever price you select... and then watches that product for you in the background, and when that product drops down to your price point, it sends you an email... You can track as many items as you want... Think of it as a wish list, that signals you when the price drops 30%...

Amazon's wide price fluctuations are well known based on seasonality and sell-through times... Take advantage of those fluctuations while you're waiting...
