LightRoom to Flickr

Not sure where to post this.

And feel silly asking as I have somehow done it before but can't remember how to ...
export files directly from LR to Flickr. ???

I did a search on YouTube - found some dude who did it but it was an older version of LightRoom and things aren't the same. Based on what he said I thought I had it sorted and LightRoom did export the files but they never landed up in my Flickr.

Who's got my photos of the labrador? C'mon you lot fess up ...

Lawrence I use the Flickr uploader and it watches my internet photo folder and uploads when needed. I also use photobuckets automatic one to upload right away aswell.

So you upload to a separate Internet folder. That sounds like a good idea. I'll look into that tomorrow as it is getting late here
Thanks

If you don't mind me asking Scott... what are your Low Res Internet settings? I think I want to try that.

Are those low res pics the ones you post up to this site and maybe FB or something? But keep the full versions on Flickr?

In the Library module down the bottom is the Publish Services section.
The Flickr icon should be there. If not click the + icon. Enter your Flickr name and password and setting for size, quality, etc.
Drag the photos from the little images from the bar at the bottom to Flickr Photostream and then the Export option should change to Publish.
Click and done!!!!!

My guess is anything he posts on the Internet (including Flickr) would be at low resolution as screens only output low res.
The full or higher resolution would be kept on his hard drive for printing.

I have another question:

When I open Lightroom I get the following message: "Signed in (sync is currently off)"
What does this mean to me?

Edit: Found the answer. Sync is to sync it with other hardware such as phones. Not needed in my case but good to know.

@Scott Murray could you please advise what you use under File Settings for "Image Format" (Jpeg, TIFF etc) and Color Space (ProPhoto RGB. sRGB) you use for your printing export presets.

Also what to use under:
Resolution - I've put 320 for now
Output Sharpening - used gloss paper, high
Meta Data - All metadata selected at the moment

Sorry so many questions

I've never really looked at any of this stuff so it is new to me
Never printed images either.
Thanks in advance
