adobe says update software, i have the latest 7.3. Any suggestions for fix? Window 10.

When all else fails, uninstall and reinstall.

Try signing out and back in, it fixes occasional weird behavior. There is a little head icon in the cc app (next to the bell) where you can find the sign out. Also there is a sign out under help in LR. I'm not sure if they are the same, but easy enough to try both.

did uninstall and reinstall no help - saw a similar problem in community help after many tries stating the problem - the customer moved his catalog which fixed his problem - I looked at my catalog and when I clicked on it a note popped up "error reading from preview cache" next install may fix the problem. which it did.
