I really like the result.&nbsp; It was suggested to me by a local shop that called it a low cost alternative to the 24-70 f/2.8For wide angle I went with the Sigma 10-20 f/3.5 and I have been very happy with this lens.&nbsp;&nbsp; It is a DX lens, but I really enjoy how it works on Landscapes and I can take group shots at the long end when there I am in a limited space.&nbsp; I really love this lens.Now if I had the cash I would get the VC version of the Tamron 70-200 f/2.8.&nbsp;&nbsp; I would also get the 24-70 f/2.8, but I am happy with these lenses given my budget.&nbsp; I wish you well in this quest... it can be daunting.</blockquote>
