Lens purchase help

I believe some interesting topics were only scratched:

ISO, how important is it => D7200 + 55-200 might be better then D7000 + 70-200 f2.8? I actually think it could be in this case.
AF is it important? I believe not for a sport around a table (getting the ball sharp in game is not possible yet I think, no matter what set up).
Zoom vs prime? I tend for prime, why not keep the 55-200 for flexibility and adding a fast prime. The main question is how much do you gain from 55-200 to 70-200 f2.8. I know the last is fantastic, I have it. However what option leads to most gain?

The analogy I heard today I think fits here when deciding lens versus camera body. You can have perfect eyesight, but putting on inexpensive plastic sunglasses doesn't help you see your best.

The analogy came up when discussing whether there was a megapixel limit at which there's no point in adding more pixels to a camera sensor. It's a similar discussion I've heard just with the D8xx bodies ... unless you have good glass, you can actually be hindered by the higher resolution instead of helped ... the body can highlight the flaws of the lens.

The better sensor in the D7200 over the D7000 can only do so much if the resolving power of the 55-200 is still costing too much IQ. Versus, swap the 55-200 for the 70-200/2.8, and now that D7000 has new life. Unless there are other lenses in the bag that will show the benefits of the new camera sensor, I'm a proponent for upgrading glass first.
