I have a Nikon D5000 and I only want to take one lens and am not ready to go out and buy any more lens at this time. I have 3 :  a Nikon AFS 55-300 1.45-5.6,  or a Nikon AFS 18-55 1.35-5.56,  OR a Tamron 18-270 1.3-6.3  most likely just shoot some larger fish within 5-10' range.
