[QUOTE="Lawrence, post: 358414, member: 16844"] 20th September Election day in New Zealand. Tomorrow we will have a different tail wagging a different dog or we will have much the same and life will go on. I went back to one of the places that really intrigues me. There is just junk and crap all over the show and hundreds (nay millions) of PIGS running around all over the main road. They are accompanied by thousands of chickens! Today there was a man there and he gave me the thumbs up - not sure if that was some sort of signal that certain herbal remedies are for sale but I took it as friendly so I got out to chat to him. Well all I can say is what a nice guy - despite appearances. He was barefoot and totally unconcerned about all the pig and chicken poop he was walking in. This protein applied directly to the feet may have explained his rather long toes ... Anyway he was a cool dude and told me had 65 pigs that were his "mates". He doesn't slaughter them at all but has people stealing them as they are incredibly friendly. He says he had almost a hundred a month ago. He went into the caravan (first picture) to retrieve one of the latest additions who is just six days old.
