This is from my previous thread where i received a lot of good suggestions.Caudia! pointed me in the direction of the KATA Bumblebee.. which seemed a little big for my needs, so went for the new KATA 3N1 10DLYou can just Google it & you'll find the links to the KATA website..Just so you know, this series has 3 bags of increasing sizes DL10, DL20, DL22, DL33.. 10DL is the smallest which is what a needed - a safe carry on for just one camera (mostly D5100, could be the D7000) with just 1 lens, mostly the 35mm 1.8G AND a lot of other carrying stuff.So safety, space, weight & ease of use were my main priorities.From the WebsiteI searched all over the internet for pictures or descriptions if this was exactly what i needed, couldn't find much.So putting this on here... if it helps anyone, great <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite1" alt=":)" title="Smile    :)" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":)" />Without much ado, here are some pics3N1 was designed to be as the name implies 3 in 1..Basically, this can be used a regular back pack, sling bag or a cross type bag.The Bag:[ATTACH=full]37875[/ATTACH]Back View as a Back-Pack[ATTACH=full]37864[/ATTACH]As a Sling Bag[ATTACH=full]37865[/ATTACH]'X' Cross [ATTACH=full]37866[/ATTACH]With Rain Protection as well[ATTACH=full]37863[/ATTACH]This was something i was worried about - the extra space for other stuff.There seems to be LOADS of it.. definitely for a camera bag of this size!I have placed a couple of pens to give you an idea of the width & height of the space available and for me, it seems just enough.Plus, there is a netted pocket for keeping small documents & pens etc..The bag expands quite a bit on the sides.. it looks a little smashed in cos i had a difficult time trying to click & hold the bag open and push the sides <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite7" alt=":p" title="Stick out tongue    :p" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":p" />[ATTACH=full]37868[/ATTACH]The height of the bag can be adjusted as well using some belts & buckles that KATA has provided on the outsideThis is the side view.. from where you can load & unload your camera quickly & effortlessly.The zipper & the design of the bag is such that it can be easily used for left or right-handers.A number of cushions/foams are provided which can easily accommodate a camera with a fairly large lens as well.Still more place to keep in an additional lens, at the very least.. If your space management is good, you can probably fit in 2 small lenses.The flaps you see in this pic is velcro for sticking against the side foam when not in use (or rather this is the left side for a right hander <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite1" alt=":)" title="Smile    :)" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":)" /> )The inside of the bag is extremely soft and well cushioned. This is how the bag was shipped to me.So am pretty certain, by moving the foams around it would fit far more snugly.Now am not certain if a camera with a battery grip would fit just as nicely. Or for that matter reason any lens larger than a 70-300 would struggle to find comfortable space.[ATTACH=full]37873[/ATTACH]Here is the D7000 with the 70-300 & the 18-55 lens by it's side.[ATTACH=full]37874[/ATTACH]Needless to say, this bag just fits the bill for me.In fact, i think there is still a LOT more space if i need to carry any additional camera equipment.The bag is as light as a feather.It is quite unbelievable, but the bag with the above equipment just feels almost as heavy as an empty bag!Another surprise for me was that, on the tag it says 'Manufactured by Manfrotto'!!!I did not know KATA & Manfrotto were in anyways related.That's basically everything i wanted to convey about this bag.Or at least, that's all for now since i have not really spent any time with the bag.If you have similar needs, this is definitely worth considering.in fact, if you need something a tad bigger than this, the models higher up to this would do perfectly.Thank you for your time!</blockquote>
