The D300s just snaps in, in the same setting. If I attach my SB900 with the red focus light enabled it is very quick again. I will see if it's a problem in actual use, but it's ironic that the 300 is good at AF in low light but is noisy at high ISO and the D600 is the opposite.Also, at 75 clicks in I have the dust problem. The D300 is 16000 clicks in and is like new!! I will see if it's ok after a couple of thousand.</blockquote>
