It sure saves on carrying a bunch of memory cards around. The eye-fi card will also wirelessly tether to you iMac or iPad. You can program it to erase itself when the files are confirmed downloaded. Good luck & have fun.When on vacation in the wild west this past Summer I also carried a rechargeable hard drive that can read SD or CF memory cards really fast. It's called the Colorfast drive.
