I wasn't sure where to post these as there aren't too many golf threads.
These are from a small golf course--it's my understanding that the land was once used to divert runoff from the local parking lots then the land was purchased to build a golf course. In the past couple of years, there has been some discussion about adding some drainage because after it rains, the golfers complain about all the water.
*Please note*--the water isn't from a hazard--it's there because it recently rained.
The green is towards the left in the background. I'm standing off to the left of the tee so no one should take a tee shot from this spot, but it gives you an idea of how extensive the water problem is:
