Unless it's an important shot that can't be taken again, I would rather have no shot than high digital noise shot. To me, it's not better than nothing. I can always come back and shoot it another day with better lighting condition. If it's a very low light shot like a night scene, then I use a tripod.On my D750 it's a whole different ballgame.
