He got washed off the crossing and drowned.The occupants of this car look to have kicked the windscreen out to escape. No one was around when I came across it, so I don't know the full story. I spotted it from my front gate when I took the rubbish bin out for collection tomorrow.Edit- when I say one victim every 2 years, I mean a vehicle getting washed downstream, not a life lost each time.
